Waste to Value

Waste to Value Waste to Value

The Problem Is Enormous. The Opportunity Is Greater.

W2V was founded on a simple conviction: that the world's waste crisis and its energy crisis are the same problem, and that solving one solves the other.

The world produces more than two billion tonnes of organic waste every year. It is burned, buried, and mismanaged at enormous cost to public health, the environment, and economic stability. The technology to change that exists. What has been missing is the right combination of expertise, relationships, and commitment to deploy it at scale.

That is what this team represents.

Our people span engineering, finance, business development, and policy across Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the United States.

Our engineers hold national honors and advanced degrees from Harvard, École Polytechnique, and Delft.

Our finance professionals hold PhD-level credentials and have advised governments and institutions on sustainable investment across three continents.

Our regional partners hold direct relationships at government ministry level in Southeast Asia and have delivered proven infrastructure across Latin America.

We don't just understand the problem. We have the relationships, the credentials, and the track record to solve it.

A Broader Mission. A Stronger Platform.

W2V operates alongside our sister company Watts Matter — same leadership, same mission, different focus. Where W2V develops systems that turn organic and municipal waste streams into renewable natural gas, biochar, fertilizer, and captured CO2, Watts Matter delivers proven clean energy solutions for buildings, facilities, and large-scale infrastructure — including utility-scale solar, grid extension, and smart street lighting.
